The iPhone 12 Mini is the least popular Apple phone
Naturally, if the iPhone 12 Mini is considered a failure to the point that Apple has no intention of continuing it in 2022. Because the latest research report reveals that the iPhone 12 Mini is Apple's most unpopular cellphone.
The report was released by market research firm Consumer Intelligence Research Partners (CIRP). They said that the market share of the four iPhone 12 models reached 64% of all iPhone sales in the US in the first quarter of 2021.
It's just that none of the four models really dominate the market. Since the market is dominated by the iPhone 11 released in 2019, this phone accounts for 24% of sales.
CIRP also revealed the iPhone 12 Mini to be the least popular. The sales are even less than the iPhone XR released in 2018, and the iPhone SE, which is much cheaper.
Based on the graph, the iPhone 12 Mini accounts for less than 5% of purchases. Meanwhile, the iPhone SE and iPhone XR contributed 7% and 9%, respectively.

CIRP noted that demand for the iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max has been fairly consistent with sales each accounting for 20% of US iPhone sales.
CIRP concluded that Apple customers now prefer the larger iPhone. Although a few years ago many customers were looking for devices that were compact in size.
