I want Android to always be open-source even to a hardware platform so decentralized, the Chinese models of phones are known as constant espionage as a list of drivers, that are especially closed-source even to the US government importing such phones with those drivers cleared for military usage. ;)

Why should the State of California have technology less secure than say Texas, just to become that taken over by China even sending most of our nation’s electronics to that Great State?
